Hello to 2025, I'm wishing you all a healthy new year.
Welcome to my website. Let me introduce myself. My name is Barbara Satchwell. I offer holistic medicine, otherwise known as complementary therapies.
A new dawn for me!
I have been fascinated by holistic therapies for most of my life. I have personally experienced the beneficial effects of these treatments and am excited by having the opportunity to share my knowledge and training with you.
The treatments I am offering!
Many people are concerned with the amount of chemical medication that is offered to them - doctors seem only able to offer tablets to their patients – complementary medicine has much to offer. Holistic therapies are the treatment of the whole person - body, mind, and spirit – creating the best health and wellness possible at any given time. I believe this philosophy is best encapsulated in Bowen therapy and Reiki. New in 2025 I have added Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage to my therapies.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage is also a very gentle therapy which can help to reduce swellings and feeling bloated. It can help to reduce pain in painful conditions such as ME, Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis. As the body relaxes this treatment can help lower anxiety, and to boost energy levels and the immune system. it can also be used to enhance skin tone and to help clear the skin of blemishes and spots. Bowen therapy is a soft tissue remedial therapy with great physical benefits, without the manipulation that chiropractors and osteopaths use. It is very relaxing and promotes emotional well-being and improved sleep. I offer Bowen therapy in Norton Canes, Cannock and surrounding areas.
Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing energy therapy, it is extremely relaxing, with potentially huge benefits for to emotional problems, pain control and improved sleep. I offer Reiki Therapy in Norton Canes, Cannock and the surrounding areas.
McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release Techniques also offered. Scarring can have deep emotional effects on a person, as well as creating physical problems. This technique provides a quick, permanent release to the tissue under the scar, which can improve both the look and feel of the scar; and can bring relief from the dragging, burning, or itching feeling that is often the side effects of scarring.
